My excitement with my very low mileage, formerly stock, TT was reborn today! I had a B&B catback exhaust system installed today. I struggled with potentially lowering my Z's value by modifying my 1993 new condition (19K miles) Z. My decision was solidified when I conluded that my 2003 Miata Shinsen Version sounded way better than my Z. Once I decided I had to get a better sounding exhaust, the number of different opinions was confusing. Stillen an B&B seemed to have the best quality (read expensive) reputation. I wanted to stick with the closest, but better looking, to stock appearance. Went with quad outlets, 2.5" pipe and 3" outlets. The B&B, as everyone said, was much louder and better looking than the Stillen. My message to those trying to decide is that the B&B was exactly what I wanted -- louder with nice rumble at lower rpm's, but not annoyingly loud. You might think between 2000 and 2500 rpm's it is annoying. But I like to keep that option to get attention sometimes, and rarely does anyone drive for extended time in that rpm range. Please note that many say the NA Z is too loud with the B&B Enjoy the ride!
